Thursdays during school terms - FULL 9.30am-10.30am $7 per class - pay for 10 classes, get 1 free Staying fit in a safe and friendly environment as you move to a variety of music genres. A class to maintain tone, aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility. Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear to be worn, ie runners. Equipment needed for this class are a small ball, light weights and a theraband. Get Up and Go @ the Bowling Club Mondays during school terms 9.30am-10.30am $7 per class - pay for 10 classes, get 1 free A fun class to invigorate you for the week commencing with an aerobic style warm up and moves that utilise your whole body to a large variety of music. The class finishes with some gentle and necessary stretches to help you get on with the day. Meditation, Mindful Movement and Relaxation Tuesdays during school terms 12.30pm-1.30pm $12 per class Take some time out to relax your mind and body! In one hour, you will practise a seated meditation, gentle mindful balancing and stretching movements as well as mental and physical relaxation exercises. No previous experience is required. Strength Training @ the Bowling Club, Koonung & Zoom Mondays 9.15am - Front Room @ Koonung 10.30am - Zoom Wednesdays 9.15am @ Blackburn North Bowling Club 10.30am @ Blackburn North Bowling Club Fridays 9.15am - Front Room @ Koonung 10.30am - Zoom Strength training helps to maintain bone density and balance for the prevention of falls. Only hand weights are needed. There are no dance moves involved and loose comfortable clothing is recommended. Men and women of all ages attend, mostly coming twice per week. Yoga: Hatha - CLASS FULL. Call to be added to the waitlist. Mondays 11 July - 12 September 9.30am-10.30am $130 payable at the beginning of term or $15 per class casual rate This gentle and slower-paced class will include simple postures and gentle stretching for physical benefits and meditation as well as relaxation practices to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system. Suits older people or those needing to ease into a yoga practice. Some practices will be practiced on a chair to support those who have issues with joints or mobility.
